    Default Boat Probs

Boat starting acting squirrely yesterday after an hour on the lake. Running real low on speed and dying every so often. Had to choke it to keep it running back to the ramp, Any guesses what might be wrong?

If you havent changed to the "grey fuel line" you need to do so ASAP. sounds like a line or filter issue.

we had similar problems, turned out we had trash in the fuel lines...........they were deteriorating on the inside, supposedly caused by the ethanol. we replaced all the lines and filters.

I have blue lines and I did have an in-line filter system built in between my gas and motor. Looks like an oil filter. The bulb was not tight, tight...

First thing I'd check is that filter and look on your motor and see if you have one of those small clear filters on the motor. Check for rubber particles and water. Sure sounds like fuel delivery problem.

Your fuel filter sounds like a Fuel/ Water separator. Might be full of water and needs changing, but the choking and running sounds like a high speed jet stopping up.
