that you guys are using. Here is what I have, on this new to me boat, I put the terrova on it and the way the boat setup (where Hugh had them put the place to mount the TM) when mounting the Terrova, I was not able to use all the mounting bolts because of I couldnt get to them or if I tried I would be drilling into the side of the boat and the bolt would be sticking out of the side of the bolt on the outside. at slow speed it seems fine but when I hit the rabbit on the ipilot remote, I noticed the front of the motor reared up about a 1/2 to 1 inch, dont know just how secure that would be like it is
thanks
Larry

It needs to be solid.....no movement. And you need stainless steel bolts with flat washers and lock nuts.

You may need to manufacture a aluminum plate to mount to the existing holes then mount terrova to that plate. Think EZ has done a couple of those.

U can also drill more holes close to the existing ones where they'd work for your setup. Get a couple on each side as close to the front as possible. I had to do the same thing on my terrova. Hope u get it figured out.
You don't need a quick release unless you're going to be taking it off often, just the aluminum plate, like Cray said.
