Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!
If you're in memphis, The Water Works at Cox and Central has cypress, old stuff from dismantled buildings. He will replane it for you.
Wilson lumber company on Chelsea ave. had it the last time I needed some.
May have to hunt for a mill along the river. Watch craigslist.org
Go get some of those plastic 2 bys at home depot. Never replace.

Use pine and paint them with a good wood sealer or primer before you put the carpet back on. Should last as long as you own that boat!!
