    Yeah but old habits are hard to break . That is what we called it when i was growing up . We use to camp down there on the river and catfish . Frog gig and bream fish them lakes across from the river side .

    If you are trying for Cane Creek, You can put in off of "Harbor Lane". Just before lake harbor rd.

    thanks, anthony, not planning on coming soon, lol. its just bugging me that i cant remember where this is. its too long a drive from greenwood. i placed second in a green carp tourney back in the day, fishing cane creek in the spring. dont even remember how to get there..........25 years or so ago, lol.

    Is that landing still open? I tried to launch there once in December due to high winds and they had the gate locked. I don't know if it was locked because of deer season or what....

    Usually you can still get to the first ramp at least even when gate is locked.

    Like he said they lock it when the road gets wet . That ramp is down close to the end of the road and there is a kinda ramp at horse shoe have to park side of the road . And there is one just right down behind the store . You have to navagate caney creek . Haven't used them in many years . Good if you got a small boat . You can put in at tommy's and be there in 5 minutes .
