Thread: Tried again

I went back to Dacus yesterday. Caught 2 dink crappie, 2 catfish, 1 white bass, and 1 green carp.I kept 1 catfish and the green carp!Quite a few boats yesterday.2 guys had yo-yo's from the runout up about 200 yds on the north side.I ran all the way down the lake to the far end and trolled back and forth across that end and didn't get bit. Started back down the outside bend, got to the inlet to Mosquito Lake and caught every one of the fish I caught right there.There were a ton of baitfish in that ditch! Trolled Mosquito Lake for a while, didn't do any good.The water temp went from 57.1 to 63.5 during the sunny part of the day. Met 3 guys from Jonesboro in a nice XPRESS boat with HY-TEKS on it.I left about 5:30. The river is supposed to be on a big rise so I'm gonna go back to fishin Butla.Gonna rain all next week, but the temps are supposed to be near 80.that will warm things up in a hurry!!
