I called on the Minn Kota that is on Craigslist and am goint to look at it this afternoon. Guy said it just quit working, even the volt guage wont work. It is an Auto Pilot 65 pound thrust. Does it sound like something minor???
Trolling motor is 7 years old but green carp fisherman arent as hard on em as crappie fisherman trolling like we do.

I looked and immediately thought about posting "if it's already broke, don't waste your time". So you pried it out of me. Stay away from it.

I would go with the gamble. If it's beyond repair you could part it out for more than you have in it. Prop, motor, shaft, etc.. Also I think it has co pilot which is woth the asking price by itself. JMO

Missed the link and don't know the price but if slimey is right about the a/p being worth more than the asking price you can't get hurt and might get lucky.

Rest of the parts aren't very marketable but u might get lucky in them too if u have to dump it.

If you get it for the auto-pilot, you'll be disappointed you didn't save a few more bucks and get i-pilot.
