    The HI-Techs dont hurt the rods, And these have alot more surface area. They would be alot easier on the handles than any rod holder out there

    The stud that attaches em to the bar, loosen the nut.

    Look very functional. Only negative I can see is that it appears you will have a 4" pole sticking up when you take them out of the boat. I prefer the hitek flush mount.
