Did yall read this on the Arkansas board? Talkin about Lake Washington!!Thanks guys! It was pretty tuff out there again today but was nice getting some vindication for the spankin the lake gave us last weekend. We fished from 7am till 3pm and it rained on us for 7 1/2 hours....sometimes pretty heavy. The wind was also pretty bad but compared to last week it seemed calm. We caught our fish slow trolling roadrunners with Bobby Garland Slab Slay'R's a foot off the bottom in 14-16 FOW. The color was Orange/Chartreuse. This was a Crappie USA tourney and the top three places in the amateur and semi-pro divisions get to fish in the 2012 Cabela's Classic on Oct 24-27 at Barkley/Kentucky Lakes, KY. We got 1st place in the amateur division and 2nd overall. David caught the 2nd biggest fish at 2.33 lbs and the 1st was 3.35 lbs. Only problem was we didn't see the place on the registration form to enter the big fish pot so his didn't count. But, we had a great time and got to see Capps and Coleman on the water. We are both pretty well beat down at this moment but we do appreciate the posts and words of encouragement. And Ben, we should all go fishing again sometime soon!
