We got it the antenna was not even screwed on just set on the receiver thanks for all the help.

Well was still not like it should be so we got out a roll of coax and run it up in the attic and drilled a small hole in the roof of the room we were having problems with and put new ends on the coax screwed the antenna in and stuck it down the hole, works better than any others now.
