I intend to pick some brains for sure, spider rigging is ok but my patience sucks. I enjoyed pulling cranks last summer and intend to start back up as soon as the spawn is over.

    Keep it coming guys.

When you see Ronnie Capps logged in on here......do like I do and PM him with some questions, he has always answered mine. I see him online here pretty regular, just keep a eye out on the bottom of the front page to see who is logged in.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

G, Ole Ronnie may get tired of me. Read a thread where he had some input on on the main board and his info was good. Read another article online last night but I cant remember who wrote it, he was from Jackson. It wouldnt let me bookmark it for some reason.

    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Line counters are hard to cast with a small bait, and they take forever to reset just letting the line out. Not enough drag from the jigs.

I bought the Suffix braid that has a different color every 25'. Easy to cast and reset by the number of colors out. Two colors, give or take is about right. 40-50-60' out. I bought 20/6.

BTW, from what I've read, you can adjust depth by Jig Weight, Line Out, and Boat Speed. Kinda like cranks.

Default basscat 21 wrote an article

on longlining last year. Ole Bernard is one of the better folks out there at doing it. Here's the link http://www.magnoliacrappieclub.com/a...LongLining.pdf Think he's giving lessons for a fairly cheap price right now an know he does some guiding. Him and Brad are both guiding on Barnett and a few other lakes these days
