What's the story on wapanocca, Is it still open to the public. Closed during duck season?I've been out of touch with the Ark. area since I moved south out of Memphis. I put Ark. and Pickwick on my list of places to hit this coming year.Gonna buy license for all 3 states.Life's gettin short,I got to fish every chance I get!!My grandpaw, when he came here from Italy, helped build the Harahan Bridge over the Mississippi.Don't know how they managed back then! Anyway, enough of my junk!Glad you got to jerk them perch!

It closes during the waterfowl season but is open to the public otherwise. I'm not sure when they open back up but it should be pretty soon. The crappie and bream fishing has been pretty decent there the last couple of years.

Yeah, Whopper Knocker had some really good fishing last year. People caught lots of crappie and bream. Not sure about when it opens. Should be soon tho.
