From the sounds of it, if I were you with $350 to spend, I'd get me as big of a lead acid battery that I could find local (Group 31) for about $100, get me 3 or 4 good rods of your choice and spend the rest on line and jigs and go fishing. $350 ain't gonna buy much toward a fancy smancy new fish finder, or at least on that's gonna tell you more than you can already see, but good rods will make a big difference and you can't never have enough jigs and line.
