Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

Don't worry about drilling that deck, just install 1 of these with the pole holders and you are good to go!Mount them Hi- Tek's and your fish finder and you're ready to rock-n- roll. Something else. I think I'd rather have the poleholder base mounted to the seat base instead of the center pivot base. That way the holders would be square in front of each person!! http://www.crappie.com/crappie/membe...-required.html

I use Minnermatics, designed by Minner, endorsed by Minner, used by Minner. the boys a gewber fer sure but he's also a tight wad and that lead to some good homemade holders for about $25 each.

I quess other than price (depending on how fast I want to get set up) is the mounting (got to have a flush mount) so when I'm not using them the deck is clean.

Yep! Slide them out of the base and store them away! Mount 4 bases. 2 up front,1 each side in the back for trolling cranks, if you decide to! Move them wherever you want!
