    Default Crappie Spawn

If it keeps this warm weather up, they'll be trying to move in a fast. The had an article in the Clarion Liar this morning about a Bass guy that was on Barnett. Seems he found some 63 degree water. That sho is getting close to the temp they wanna start spawning at. Wonder if the full moon this week will send some of them shallow?

Noticed this weekend 3 Japanese Magnolia trees blooming out. Gonnabe early this year unless we get put back into a deep freeze.

I think every fruit tree that is blooming will not bear fruit this year. It is going to get cold in March.

I have leaf buds on my pecan, peach, maple and fig trees.
Large butter cups budding across the yard.
Garden greens are yellow with buds.

Let me check the redbuds and dogwoods.

I noticed 2 Bradford Pears were in full bloom on I-55 between Jackson and Grenada last Thursday. Thought I should be trying them shallow, but the torrential rain Saturday made me change my mind.
