Texas A&M ain't been either DD, but I'm sure since they now have a chance, they beat ol miss to it.

Not to nitpick there DD, but it was 1998, not the early 90's. MSU finished with an SEC record of 5-3 that year and made it to Atlanta. Ole Miss has finished 7-1 in the SEC twice since then and still haven't made it. Maybe one day.......

If the SEC would drop Ole Miss and State it would be better off now that AnM and Missouri are joining... They could join Memphis and Southern Miss... Right where they belong

Yeah, A&M and Missouri are such powerhouses. They are about to get introduced to life in the SEC. Why would the SEC want to get rid of Ole Miss? We are in the Top 15 in all time bowl appearances and Top 10 in all time bowl wins. Yeah, we've stunk it up the last couple of years, but that ain't gonna last forever.
Every team in the SEC struggles from time to time. Remember Shula at Alabama? Dinardo at LSU? And now Dooley at Tennessee?
To say Ole Miss and MSU should join Memphis and USM is downright laughable. If anyone should join them it should be Tennessee. With all the money and resources they have, they should NEVER have a losing season in anything, but yet they do.
