    want to replace the plugs in my 50HP 2006 merc 2 stroke. got the boat last march and don't know if they are current or not. just took the three old ones out. they are champion QL78YC. are these correct and where can i find the gap these need to be set on.....gonna replace the impeller and lower unit lube next.

    Get the NGK plugs at Advance auto parts. They will tell you the gap.

    My Merc has the information right on the front left of the motor when the cowling is off.

    not sure i got one here, i know i got napa, auto zone and one other that i can't think the name of, could be advance. as soon as this storm passes i am gonna head down goodman road and check it out....

    X2 on the NGK plugs....I get mine at NAPA

    Not one in olive branch or southaven, but 2 in horn lake. ( advance auto parts) Go to napa.

    NGK part # 4495 plug number BPZ8H N 10 set on .040
