I use the Bussman 60amp inline right at the battery on the positive lead for my 24v system, the same unit rebadged for MK sales.

Kdavid1, the diagrams that I have saw have the circuit breaker with the TM connected to one side and then another cable coming off the circuit breaker to + (positive) side of the battery that the TM was connected to

Thats right all you are doing is breaking the hot wire ( positive) battery lead that goes to the TM......Place your circuit breaker inline close to the battery. I have mine mounted on the wall inside my battery compartment right next to my TM batterys.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
