    Plate is not needed on any boat I suppose. Install would have been an issue on the champ due to not being able to position motor where there was enough deck to drill. On the cat, I could have went without but having it made it easier.

    Sounds like WB gonna get everyone else to do all the work. Kids took it apart and now everyones getting involved in helping put it back together LOL
