    well thank you. Ive worked on alot of cars but never a boat--so im a bit shy about it.

    wow-now--I might get an ego--just kidding-I really appreciate that. I have been looking at pics, measuring, drawing, measuring again since August (I'm a bit compulsive that way) but it really is no big deal once you get into it. The whole working on a boat thing intimidates me--but I got to and would rather do it myself anyway. The real pain so far has been the lids. The way Ranger did them is insane (if you want to replace the carpet). Thank goodness my neighbor is a good one--or else I would have been waiting for my yard to dry out before I could have marked and cut.

    Lids covered--don't have the hinges placed yet-just got them sitting in the boat so I can move around a bit easier--and so they can air out--that formica contact cement is stout.
