The Second Annual Geezer Rodeo is on for sometime in early May. Hopefully we'll have a good turnout this year.

Donnie i use those dressed treble hooks on crankbaits i just use them on the back hook. I like the ones with the black rubber mixed silver flashabou. Works good on a pink and black cb. Works good on butla.

Donnie, I think a 300 size crankbait will handle a dressed rear hook just fine. I've played around with hook size on 300's mostly and haven't had any problem with any size I've tried on them yet. 100's and 200's may need just a little less material back there to get them to act right. I run a red rear hook on all my crankbaits now but with your dressed rear hook containing multi colored hair and flash, hook color under the dressing probably won't be as critical as just a bare hook.

Ain;t but one way to find out. That's for sure. Less would be more though on them. I'm sure with the little bit of added drag on the crank that it may run shallower as well. Not by much but a little anyhow
