    Default Cell Service

No more going outside saying, "can you hear me now?" I got a MicroCell from AT&T and hooked it to my computer. We have 5 bars of service in the house now.

It's a booster for your cell phone signal. It hooks up to your high speed Internet. My iPhone used to say no service about half the time but now I have a full signal.

No, I've got Comcast Internet. The Microcell plugs into my router and has a power cable. You get online and register it at AT&T.com and I got a text message on my phone that said it was activated. It cost $199.99 from the AT&T store. I'll probably get rid of my land line now.

Does your cell service have to be with ATT?

I would think it would. You could call you're provider and see what they have available. I know that this unit will only work with AT&T phones. You have to register each phone number for them to work. It also has a GPS built in for 911 service.

Oh yea that GPS is also so you can't move it from one location to another... When we moved in SC from one house to another it wouldn't work, Had to call sprint and get it set up again. We also had to program our #'s into it. whem other people came over their phones still didn't work!!!
