    Hey Barbie, we have a hard time with our dog when we travel. (he sets in car Carrier and cries for hours). The Vet told us to give him benadryle (sp) and it works great!!! asleep in about 30 mins and works for hours... when he does wake up alls good.. just thought I would share... ask your vet
