Yeh, the reds love em. I'l mainlky be using soft plastics, twitch baits and popping corks though. I do wanna get out in the channel at the bridge for those big ole Black drums. I do really hope the wind ain't bad saturday cause those big bull reds are hanging round Cat Island right now is huge schools. Talked to a guy the other day that said he was this huge Orange mass up ahead of him and when he got there there were thousands of huge over 30 inch reds.

Hope ya'll have a blast. Sounds like you are pretty well prepared for everything that you can. If you see any Bouyo Billy Shrimp (come in a three pack) get a few packs of the pink and the natural colors. Use them under clacker corks (tourist rigs) and float them while you are casting jigs or hard baits. We always have two floating behind the boat while drifting. Usually our bigger fish of the day comes on those baits. Keep you drag set loose but just enough to set the hook. Look forward to the pics.

We gonna do that SH. not those baits but got a secret bait a feller told me to buy. Says it's the best Speck bait he ever bought. Gonna be on the lookout for birds diving as well. Specks will be right up under the diving birds
