    Default Can't Let The Little Things Bring You Down!


    Well Friday afternoon on the way to Chotard my partner and I were involved in a wreck on I20! We were cruising along in the slow lane and ended up passing a car that was in the fast lane. I guess the lady driving decided she needed to get over in the slow lane and she drove straight into my boat! My partner Steve did an excellent job holding the truck on the road as the boat trailer was jack knifing all over the road. He was finally able to get the truck stopped in the median. Now for most this would spoil anybody's fishing weekend but not us! Within minutes another MCC member was pulled over behind us helping take all my gear out of the boat. Another fine member of MCC loaned us his boat and after three hours on the side of the interstate we were headed on our way. You never know what can happen at any given moment! It could have turned out allot worse. My trailer is definatly totaled and the boat has received some damage. I'm about to get on the phone and start the process!

    Yes she has progressive insurance same as my boat.

    I'm glad nobody was hurt and that the damage wasn't worse. Help is only a phone call away with the people in MCC and with the C.com folks.

    WB where do you suggest passing? If a car is doing 60 in the fast lane and the slow lane is open?
