I run two poles off each side two 14's and two 10's. I only let out about 35 ft. of line, no weights, just the jig.....I controll the depth with my speed, speed up to go shallower and slow down to go deeper. So far I have only used Donnys jigs tied on Satdocs sickle runners.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Torch, I use the same setup I use to pull cranks with for the sides of my boat. I usually run 6 poles if I am by myself. 2-12s 2-8s and 2-6s. I don't use weight put the jig or jigs.

The depth chart is great, but I found a flaw in it. 2 1/32 jigs should run shallower than 2 1/24ths. I think these are in the wrong order on the chart. They say that 1-1/32 runs shallower than 1-1/24th as it should, being a bit lighter. Has to be the same with 2. Great articles though. Thanks Scott for the post.
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
Thanks for the link Scott. Now it's time to stock up on more jigs.:D
I use MINNERS!
I did, but I promised Bernard I'd read his article to see if he made any mistakes.
No weights were added to my jigs, but I did run a 1/8 Road runner on one, 2 1/16 on one and a 1/16 and a 1/32nd on the other. Course with only 3 poles, it wasn't much of a chore, but with a bazillion poles, it might help some. My real trouble comes not tangling in turns or when putting out lines, but when I catch a fish and try to drag it back in through all that mess.
