I guess since it's so unexpected and I've never seen this beaver, that makes it a strange beaver. If some strange beaver is after my wood, I might have to take care of bidness

I'm sure you never seent one, now back to the tree.
I'm guessin, like I said with the last Varmint episode, Sat borrowed somebody's teef and has been gnawin on it.
Beaver shavins are a lot cleaner than that. I've seent where beavers look like a hatchet has been there, but it's been a while. As fer water flow, beavers can survive without water flow, but they tend to ....nevermind. That won't never make it on here.

Strange beavers is risky bidness. I've heard tell of folks gettin shot while chasin them jokers. And don't ferget, strange beavers sometimes carry diseases. Always use great precaution and some means of protection.
Defiantly a beaver--and a big one at that. I just lost a huge willow this year from one of the darn things.
Yep....thats the work of a beaver (big toothed rodent) :D Glad to see your lake coming back to life. Thumbs Up
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

AHHH YESSS! Classic sign of the wild beaver gnawing on her some wood. I have definitley seent it before in my youful days. Don't do much beaver hunting anymore, can't handle the teef marks like I used to could.
Hatchet,Kids My neighbors kids did the same thing to a nice oak.The dad thought it was ok until the tree died.
Bigfoot was to busy throwing stuff at us to have done it. We had a rocks thrown at us and had at least 2 come up behind us
