Now that the TD drama is settled

I have been with the fruit jar series since its inception and have made some truly wonderful friends and learned a thing or two about crappie fishing.

With the drama of the TD Election and the way it was done and the pot stirring you have made something that was fun and enjoyable almost miserable to deal with. I have had way too many pm's and emails over this. I joined and supported the FJ series cause it was FUN, knowing up front you would be lucky to get your gas money back if you won. Well this has become NO FUN.

I said from the get go that the TD should be appointed by the FJ committee and any other FJ officers should be appointed by that committee. (No hurt feelings and no DRAMA)

Whomever gets on the FJ committee as far as rules or weighmaster has to be there at almost every tournament. I have missed one in the past 3 years.

I will still fish a few of the FJ's but I have made arrangements to guide and fish other trails next year.

It will be a relief to just show up and fish and not have any drama.

Amen, Sad to see a couple folks ruin things for everyone else. I just hope that folks coming in and seeing the drama created by a couple folks doesn't ruin their opinion of wanting to fish these FJ's.
I know I've had a few ask if it's always like this and I told them no and to come fish them, you'll see they're not like what's happnin right now on the board. Truly wish things wouldn't have gone down like this. It makes us all look like bad

Thanks for your help over the last three years Torch. I know what you mean. And three years of doing it will grate on anybody.

For my part on keeping all of it stirred, I apologize sincerely. I've always tried to do my best, but sometimes that wasn't good enough and often times, it was exactly the wrong way to go about it.
