    Default Coldwater bottoms

On the side of I-55 looks like it is about to dry up, but all of a sudden there were 5 boats out there this morning. What's up with that?

I heard that back in the Spring, the Maj had a bad case of that - The Coldwater Bottoms. I hear tell there are pics to prove it floating out there somewhere.

With the high water this spring and summer there has to be lots of fished trapped in those sloughs. There will be good poling this fall and winter and next spring. Will need a small johnboat to fish em. Those holes always hold wAter even when the lake gets very low. This cool weather has probably turned the fish on in there. Obviously it has turned on the fishers.
