Aluminum. EZ had the hookup for me. That EZ is handier than a Wal-Mart sack I tell ya.

If you have the terrova, why would you need the kicker motor?

Holic several of us use both. The kicker takes some of the load off the Terrova. It will allow you to troll all weekend even if you can't recharge your batteries. It also serves a a safety feature if you get out somewhere and have main engine or prop issues. I like to use the Terrova exclusively early in the morning if the lake is like glass and go to the combo once the sun gets up and boats start moving around. It's a nice option to have available.

I really like a kicker set up better, just a couple of gallons of gas and can go all weekend.
