Also, I am looking for a GPS puck and a TM tranduser and mounting bracket for this unit as well where I can move it to the front while spider rigging.

Go into your menu and go to charts and change your speed.
call 1-800-633-1468.This is HB Tech Service. They will help you.
What kind of speeds are you wanting to get depth on?

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
It might have a flasher module in the menu. That's what you have to do on an aluminum boat. If you don't have it setup already, you can shoot through the hull instead of mounting outside the transom. The cavitation kills em on the outside.

Go kill ya a deer and don't worry about it. LOL

That's what I figured. You can basically give up on seeing the bottom at 60. It is possible, just not likely. And to do that, you'll need a flasher and a shoot through mounted transducer. You could probably register bottom with your HB unit up around 40 with a shoot through install though. You just gotta want it to do it and be willing to risk a $100 transducer if it doesn't work out.
