Yep, being raised half cajun I've eaten more than one piece of gar. They like to call them gar balls, never could bring myself to admit I was eating gar balls so I always called it fish. However, cold it about made me heave!!!
I've always heard about folks eating them but I just ain;t never had the cajones to try any
Ain't nuttin but some shrimp etoufee' poured over a nasty piece of farm raised rough fish. I can make the same at home but better!Quote:
