    Default While were asking questions??

This is a serious question and I would like to hear serious responses! I hope to get some positive feedback. If you don't have something nice to say please don't post!

Why don't ya'll join MCC and be done with it. We fish all the same lakes you guys are fishing. We have get togethers just like ya'll do. Our tournaments aren’t that much more expensive than yours and the chance to make you money back is actually greater. We already have a solid plan in place. MCC has been around for 20 years so they must be doing something right. I just can't wrap my brain around it. It's not like you guys can't all get together like you’re doing. I’m asking because if there is something MCC needs to do to attract c.com fishermen we need to do it.

    Here's why I don't:

Cost...entry is higher, annual dues etc...Yes, it's not really that much more, but it is some more. Real additional cost is in the travel to a minimum of 7 Ts. 7 Ts is a huge committment for me with the boys at the age they are. In addition, I can't fish with both of 'em at MCC. I'd have to pick one or the other for a particular tournament, which probably is not that big of a deal, but the championship would be a big deal.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

My reason are the same as WB. And add the fact that I am in the guard and one of my weekends is already spoken for, it is pretty hard for me to commit. I actually considered joining last year but out of all your tournaments I could only have fished in 3 of them. I like to fish with you guys but just can't meet the minimum qualifications for the finals.

I will echo wb and say that I work every saturday, being in retailing, and it's all I can do to try to fish 3 tourneys a year.

I think a third of us are already fishing some, if not most or all, of Magnolia's tournaments. The ones that don't are for the reasons above.

If I ever get a little more free time I am going all in on MCC. Great group of folks that put on well run events. The draw back for most is not something MCC can overcome and that is commitment of funds and or time. For me it is just time. With my work travels of 2 to 3 days a week, I like to fish about 6 events a year anymore than that and Mommy and the 3 small children at home get a little fussy. I try to make the ones I fish 2 day events and classics if possible with CUSA and Crappiemasters.
