Another update from Casey:
We are back home and Wilks is doing great! He is still a little out of it & sore in his chest from the port. It feels so good to be home and back with Lillian. We go back to Jackson Monday for the Bone Marrow test which he will be sedated for. The official diagnosis is expected later in the week & chemo will start immediately. Thanks again for all the thoughts & prayers. Our family is literally overwhelmed with the love & support from so many but please continue because my Wilks has a tough road ahead. Prov 3:5

Another update on Wilks.. See below:
"Doctors confirmed this morning that Wilks has Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) & it is in the Bone Marrow. This does not change how he will be treated, just means in different areas. All of his skin problems are associated with his LCH. Chemo starts today. He will have treatments once a week for 6 wks, then be re-evaluated. Treatments are one syringe & only last a few minutes, so that's a blessing. Treatments will last atleast one year. Wilks, Casey, & Rebecca are now beginning a long journey...Let's call out to JESUS & PRAY them through!!"
Please continue to lift this family up in your prayers. I know they appreciate them. The Lord is faithful to answer our prayers... Thank you for all your prayers and support so far.
James 5:16
16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Do they need bone marrow donors?
Not that I know of... This update is all I have heard. They set up a facebook page for him here:
