The spider rigging, crank-bait pullin, MAJORITY of crappie fishermen AND equipment manufacturers need to LOBBY against it. B&M stands to lose a lot of revenue in pole, reel, and accessory sales if that law is passed, not to mention all of the other manufacturers that make things like Rod Holders, Jigs, Cranks, Line, Reels, etc. The non spider rigging, non crank-bait pulling, and non fishing politicians will make the decision if we don't stand together. Another small victory for the Anti's if we aren't smart enough to stop it!!!!

Most spider riggers I know troll year round, even during the spawn. I love the thump like everybody, but it's more a matter of our CHOICE'S being limited. Choice equals freedom, and we don't need any more of our freedoms taken away!!! I think a limit is a limit, so why determine HOW we catch em. Why don't we just go ahead and have a crankbait season, a spinnerbait season, a single pole season, a live bait season, and an artificial bait season? Its just about that ridiculous!!!! JMO!
