Only lake we are fishing twice this year is Grenada isnt it?? And that's for the championship, best lake in the state, hard to argue with that.

I think a comitee needs to be appointed and they decide where to fisn. Nobody else needs to have ANY input in it.

I dont care one way or another about this one but by doing this you take out the experience factor from the previous year, I kno it dont seem like much but the folks that have done this can tell ya it aint no bed of roses.

The committee is the best way to go. I will say this, I've been in the game for 25 years and it ain't easy pleasing everybody. I was on the MCC board for 10 years, tournament director for 4 and president for 1 and you make a lot of people mad. But when a decision is made, you have to stand by it.

This is my suggestion: appoint 5 FJ members not made up of present leaders except DD to act as a tournament schedule committee. This committee selects a chairman. This committee will have the responsibility of coming up with the "BEST" workable schedule possible. By doing this, the committee will take into consideration every factor known . These factors will be and not limited to other organizations schedules, holidays and special family days, pre-spawn, spawn and post-spawn, weights of past tournaments. After a good workable schedule is completed, it is presented to the present leaders for their approval.

Now as far as "not" electing no present leaders again, that ain't smart. What would be a good idea is to let Wannabe continue as "Head Grand Buba" for 1 more year. Select a "Head Grand Buba in waiting" that will take over for WB after the 2012 season. Select a "tournament director" that will assist SatDoc at the weigh-in and help keep things moving. The TD will also keep the weigh-in board up to date so folks know who's caught what. Torch will be the "head record keeper" so WB can get the money straight. DD will be responsible for short fish and help anyone that needs help. I know, I know, some are beyond help. This is just my thoughts.
