Green carp on the half shell......RoflRoflHands Clapping...............actually, it was very good:D

Haven't had any in a while but as far as bass go for eating it is hard to beat a spot out of a creek with running water. Use to fish the upper Pearl River near Phila. back before I got too old to pull a Jon boat around and catch quite a few. When you filleted them the meat had a shine to it. Every now and then we catch a black crappie out of Okatibbee with that same shine to the meat, it seems more firm than a white crappie too.

yes, steve, the meat was very firm, white as can be, and just flaked off the skin.............very good actually.

When I first saw the post I thought you was postin ASIAN carp on the half shell. Rofl May as well have been!
