    Default Thanks for the help..

Hey Guys thanks for the help with the info on a quick change bracket for the trolling motors. I got it mounted this weekend and it is awesome. I can now change trolling motors in maybe 5 minutes and the mount is secure, tight with no play at all. Now I can change trolling motors depending on the situation. I have a Terrova 101 i pilot and a 101 Maxum. Trolling of any kind Terrova. Single pole fishing I can quick change to the Maxxum.
Also changed my batteries to 3 group 31. My others were group 27 and after 2 years they would not do a full day of fishing if there was wind.
Hope to install the 1198 this weekend.

That is the perfect TM setup. You can't beat the Terrova for pullin in open water, and the Maxxum for single polin, or spider riggin in cover or docks. I like the Fortrex also.

BTW, I bought those US Battery 31 series golf cart batteries like Rees told me to get, and they are awesome batteries. They hold up better than the Optimas, or the Trojans as far as Amp Hours, and Reserve are concerned. Can't run em down!!! For 1/2 the cost of the other two brands.

You big ignernt stewpy gewberhead. You can't just come here and say "thanks". You know the rules. Pics!!!!!!!! You can run that other place anyhow you want, but this joint is governed by the rule of rulz!!!!! Don't make me sue.

I want to see how you modified the mounts to accept the Terrova and the Maxxum and perzackerly which quick release model you went with to get it done. Now get busy before I start calling you names.

    Default I knew it

I knew this was coming. I left my boat at dad's so he could finish the work for me being he is retired and has plenty of time. He is putting in an additional seat deck base so I can sit right up front when single pole fishing. I am going back up there this weekend and I will get a full set of pics.
I used mounts from A.I.O Systems Ultimate Mount. They are significantly heavier duty than the ones I seen from Minn-Kota. They sent me one bottom plate and 2 top plates. I put a top plate on each trolling motor. It was $160.00 for the whole mounting rig.
I got to say I am very happy with this trolling motor set up.

I got the guys number. He is getting out of the mounting base business because the cheaper ones have lowered demand. He builds a really nice product though.
