I talked to a very nice fellow in V'burg with the CORP about our last tournament at Arkabutla. He obtained a copy of the rangers report. For the most part, I agree with everything that was said. The one thing that I DO NOT agree with is person or team having to put back their fish at a tournament. The ranger (Mr. Lewis) stated that out of 58 participants, only 1 was verbally abusive. Mr. Breazeale ask it were me and I assured him it wasn't. One thing that Ranger Lewis commented on was the fact that he could have given all of us a citation for no tournament permit. Let's see, 58 X $150.00 = $8700.00 Split between WB & DD = $4350.00 a piece. Boy, that would opened up a new JADA class. I haven't finished my investigation into this matter. I would like to know why the WFP makes the pole and creel laws and the corp makes the laws concerning the tournament fish and life jackets?

Because in the park...Rangers are THE law! I talked to the game warden about it, he said that the Ranger can make you do push ups in the parking lot if he wants!

Well, it just ain't right for 2 different bunches being able to make the rules. Another case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. What they need to do is give the park rangers the parks and WFP the lake and the game.
