With proper hub maintenance you should not have any problems
With your bearings. Tires are a different problem, a good spare and
An AAA membership.
That's what I do.
I have always found it easier to do maint on the hub/bearings in safety of my garage rather than the side of the road.
GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
Call Paul Johnson and have him order the bearing grease that Zep sales. While you are ordering, get a case of Zep 45 spray oil. Cleans and oils at the same time. I'll take 3-4 cans.
Maj....The complete fully assembled hub is the way to go.....they do come in different sizes though......you need to know what diameter spindles you have on your boat trailer. some are 1X1, some 1 1/16X1 1/16, and some are 1 1/16 X1 1/38 etc. Since you have a Tracker boat, the folks at BPS boat dept should be able to tell you. If not you will have to remove a hub and wipe the grease off your spindle and measure it with a set of calipers.

I would think that they would Maj.....they probably know by what boat you have as well. Check and see....never hurts to ask. If not then the next time you get your bearings re-packed get that guy to take a look and tell you what your spindle size is.
