I had to leave Steve, with my .357, on the side of the road going into Choctaw Landing at Grenada back in April. I broke my outside trailer bearing on my boat trailer and had to leave it to find parts. I was lucky and was back in about an hour. Now I carry extra bearings, races, grease seals and grease.

That's one ruff road but if I were gonna fish Grenada in the morning that's where I would be.

I'm interested in knowing more about the complete hum assembly that G mentioned.

Major you can buy the complete thing from BPS greased and ready I think. Take old one off put on new one and carry on, dont forget a new dust cap seems like you always loose the dust cap when a bearing goes out.

I think I'm looking for something like this except fully assembled.
