ATM, I understand the concern on "changing the rules", but nothing has been changed since before the first FJ was fished. The question has come up from different interpretations of reading the same words on the page. No one has changed anything, but apparently we have different interpretations of the same rules. I encourage everyone to go and read it and see what you think it says. For me, it won't be that big of a deal....I'll just switch gears and have one of the Be's partner up with somebody else...for Speck and G3T, it'd be a pretty big dissappointment though.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I read it twice and came to two different conclusions. Therefor I deleted my post. I just don't want to see it turn into a problem. I would suggest the tournament committee, or whoever is empowered to, to make a ruling and be done with it. Just my 2 cents worth.

I cant find a single place where it says only two people in a boat at championship. I dont understand any problem since you can only use six poles. Why would this even be brought up.

SIT DOWN, SHUT UP, AND STAY ON YOUR SIDE OF THE BOAT.

Well guys, Its really nothing to me but I just want to toss my 2 cents in, I dont know but I feel this was started as a "kinda get together" among friends and has just blossomed out, with that being said I think if you get to being to hammered in stone you might turn folks off and I can see that about to happen here. If the rule is 6 poles per boat then I dont see why 6 people cant fish from a boat and if its 3 poles max per person then what cant 3 people fish 2 poles each. as I said I dont have a dog in the race but from standing on the outside looking in, I see some potential for some feelings to be hurt and that is putting it forum friendly. Not to defend WB (no not at all ) but the 2 person per boat makes him have to chose one or some other way of doing it but the bottom line is this, one of the boys cant say I fished with daddy today and the other one can. Looks like Speck would have to chose between Yikes or his son, now I know how that would go but he or WB really shouldnt have to do that Hey fella's dont know if you have checked but this Tourney aint FLW or BASS not intended to step on toes or ruffle feathers cause as I said, I am not gonna be there so I am not affected by it Just a hiccup that happens when things are goin right. The problem will arise on how it is resolved. Stepping down off soapbox

I really don't have a right to comment on this but I would like to throw out this idea.

    1. Place all the names in a container for a drawing.
    2. Eliminate all the place winners from this drawing.
    3. Award either 1 or 2 baits per name drawn. This would allow more winners and give the donor additional exposure.
    4. You could wrap the baits and allow them to pick a package or you could leave them exposed so that the individual could pick which one they wanted.

This may also generate some interest among the winners to trade with someone else if they wanted.

Just some food for thought. Good luck to all.Thumbs Up

I don't see a problem with it either, the six pole rule settles it for me. Let the B's, Baby G3T, and Secret Weapon fish. All have made plans to fish based on the rules as published at the start of the season. And yes, I am up past my bed time.
