I raise my motor out of the water anyway so it wouldnt help in my case. Bet it really works well in Gene's case. Yall need to remember I am pulling with a 55 pound TM so I have to get every advantage I can. By raising the motor to where only the skeg is in the water I gained .2 MPH and could cut the TM back some. If I raise it completely out of the water and it is a little windy it is a pain in the butt.

There you go, tought me 2 things that will really help me out. Didn't have a clue how to tighten up the troller. Been 32 years since I threw out my last foot control motor. Thanks again E Z.

That's ok, when you get tired of running up and down the lake and want to catch some fish you'll be lookin for a Geezer boat.
