EZ and I went to Wolf a lot last year &caught some good fish.

Rees, don't listen to that nutcase. Wolf has some big slabs in it. You have to be there when it's right. Just like any other lake. Wolf is on HWY 49W about 5 miles northwest of Yazoo City. It's not a short hop from Grenada but could be a good fishing trip. It's not a big lake like Grenada or Barnett, it's long. I think it's about 20 miles long.

that's besides the point. I've heard tales of some pigs in there back a few years back but now they just aren't near as big. At the MCC tourney this spring, well, EARLY EARLY spring, folks did good to catch any over 13 inches

The best time of the year for Wolf is late July. With river messing things up, it has moved the best time back a month. Everything is messed up due to the river.

That it is Morris. ONLY lake I've heard the river did good with was Eagle. NOT the fishing but the grass that takes over every summer. Well, it didn't do it this year since the water was so high
