    Default CORP rules

I just got of the phone with the Corp of Engineers Public Affairs office. The nice gentleman I talked to was unaware of the fish release issues. He is going to research this issue and get back to me. As soon as I know something, y'all will know what he said. There needs to be clarification for what they do. Maybe I can see putting the live fish back but there should be no law saying they can take the dead ones unless they say we were in the wrong for having an unsanctioned tournament. If I don't get satisfaction there, I will look somewhere else. I just know one thing, it's all Sat's fault.

He just told us that the dead fish had to be donated to a charity. I took the donated fish to a local volunteer fire department here and gave them away.

What you will find with the research is that there is not any hard and fast rules and NO Laws on the so called permit. It depends on who you talk to, therefore legally, you are clear without a permit in just a good ole fashion fruit jar; in other word, the blind leading the blind.

Coach, you may be right but since I made a stink about it, maybe someone will write up some rules to go by.

Well, I can see you guys being fined if you admitted to being in an unapproved tourney or something like that. I don't understand about the fish confiscation, unless you didn't have a valid license. That's a head-scratcher.
