Get the 80 lb. Terrova with I-Pilot and US2 you will be glad you did. I have one and its the best money that I ever spent.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
With the Terrova you can still use your foot pedal with the I-Pilot the power drive you can't[/QUOTE

Thats exactly right unless you buy one of those boxes that canepole makes.....I would much rather have the Terrova than the Power Drive.

Yeah but with the market crash preventing me from tapping into the IRA anytime soon, I'd have to wait till Christmas to get the Terrova. Just sayin.

Yep, and this one is for the V2 not the Terrova.
Any other differences?

And by better motor, is it more efficient that way? Is it $379 better you think. I'm just asking. Thanks for your help, just trying to decide between them

Powerdrive with 70Lb thrust, for $899:

The biggest difference in the V2 and the Terrova is the way they deploy. The Terrova is much easier to put in and out of the water with it's fold down front brackets. Its effortless. And 10. And the Foot Pedal thing.

My V2 is a pain in the butt to deploy!!!!! Be worth the difference in price just for the deploy feature!!

You got that rite, this morning 5 out of 5 rods had fish on em and I managed it by myself. Without the remote I would have just thrown everything in the lake.
