    YOU ARE DOING A FINE JOB WB LETS KEEP THE PIC;S FLOWING,,, BTW DID U WIRE THE UNIT FEED INTO A LOOP THAT WORKS OFF THE MASTER OFF SWITCH,,,,, WOULD'NT WANT THE BATTERY TO RUN DOWN DUE TO A SLIGHT CASE OF OOPS I FORGOT TO TURN IT OFF WHEN DONE Thumbs Up

    I give you a big F for not running a seperate line to the back and hooking it directly to the battery.

    Wired into master switch, which in turn is direct to the battery. The way the boat is rigged, Battery comes forward to master switch and another direct run to the front panel for distribution there. Therefore, I can hit the master switch at the console and kill the entire boat, except for the starter and gauges whein are fed from a seperate run and distribution. It's done the way it should be.

    Hollic, I potentially could pick up some intereference this way, but this is the 5th FF (and 3 different brands) I've installed on the same leg and so far none whatsoever. This one might be different, but I'd doubt it. Or, in other words. Pfffft.

    Truth be told, I only asked CP that question as a test to see if he really knows his stuff.

    Wouldnt' ya know it though....ended up hooking the US/2 up anyhow. Figure I'll give it a shot and maybe swap to the Lowrance ducer later when it's cools off. Sweat really musses my hair.
