My Yamaha 115 two stroke is 11 years old and have never had a minutes trouble. My dad had a 115 4 stroke that blew all to pieces just after the warranty ran out. Yamaha actually sent a tech down and covered all of the labor expenses and only charged him for the parts. That would be the reasons i would stay with yamahas. Either one would be fine with me. My next one will prolly be a 4 stroke just for the fuel and oil savings. Although I've heard very good things about the Etech. Not opposed to tryin one of them too.
