Yep, I'm afraid you're right. Sardis got pounded late winter and early spring. Hard to find a handful of keepers there now. I think Butla may be different tho. Most of the boats on Butla are not catching lots of fish....at Sardis earlier this year many of the boats were leaving with double limits.

To much publicity. You post pics of 14-15 lb stringers for 2-3 days in a row, it ain't hard to figure out where every body is going.

With the high water early, it's been crowded everywhere the fish are biting now.

Posting pics has nothing to do with it. That has always drawn crowds like that before computers and cell phones. Dont forget that lake has been high for the last 2 years and the fish have had excellant spawning cond. With the lake still 9 ft. above rule there is still over 500 mile of heavy cover for them to hide out. I will bet that if you see 100 boats out there prob. 20 are catching fish. If we have another spring like the last one the lake will only get better.

Hope your right Mr. Jim.It just seems like the fish are getting smaller. When i was a kid it was not uncommon to catch a 3lb fish.I only caught one over 3 this spring. It also seems the lake is clearer than normal.I think that has something to do with it.These are just my opinions.
