After the statistical models from phase 2 testing predicted 25 keepers but actual results showed only 4, I needed to recalibrate the instruments yesterday evening, so I loaded up the minnows from Lakeway that Rees was planning on using this AM and struck out on my own to finish the day yesterday. Results - 1 Keeper. Therefore, the calibration is dead on accurate to .00000000001 tolerance and I will now need to evaluate the mathematical formulas to see what the issue is. I'll keep you posted.
Oh and while you may think that a .00000000001 tolerance is pretty good, that little imprecission did not warn me of the 30 to 40 mph blow I'd run into at 7PM out of no where. Almost no clouds in the sky and went from dead calm to this in about 2 minutes. Tried to wait it out, but once I started taking waves over the bow and onto the deck, it was time to go.
