    Default Everstart MAXX Batteries

Anyone had experience with them? Not going to spend the $$ for the Optimas or the Trojans..... Just want to know if anyone has had experience with these? May look at the Interstates also. Looking at least to go with Group 29s...

How many hours do you want to continously troll? thats the question Group 31's are the best and they even come in four different reserve amp hr. rateings You get what you pay for so get the biggest battery with the highest reserve amp hr. rateing that you can afford.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Have two group 27s that trolled for about 4.5 hrs Saturday but didn't have but about and hour left in them maybe. Thinking about going to the four battery setup like some have. Slow trolling I've never had any trouble fishing 8 hours but pulling cranks is different. Thanks for your help.

Wal mart batteries are made by Exide. Exide had to cut cost to get Walmarts business so they are the cheapest batteries as far as quality you can buy. NAPA dropped Exide 2 years ago and my defect rate has dropped by 80%.

I use Delco Voyger 29's and have had no trouble yet. I wore a MK Maxxium out before the batteries were replaced.

OK, OK, ya'll stand back and let an expert set the record straight.

They're fine, but better can be had. Water em, charge 'em with a good charger as soon as you get home and don't let them sit partially uncharged and you'll get years out of 'em.

My unscientific findings are that real world, all else being equal, an equal sized Wally speshul compared to a Trojan will not last quite as long on an outing (say 30 minutes) of trolling cranks, but the difference will be seen in how long the batteries will stand up year over year. Now, calculate how much that extra 30 minutes or say 1 to 2 years is worth to you and do your own math. I'm an everything else expert, not a mathmetician for Pete's sake.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled responses by gewbers.

Calm down 123....I think he was making a joke. If I'm wrong, we can always hang him later.
